Summer sneak peak

There has been no spring this year, or maybe spring was the one nice Saturday on April 12, you know before the last round of snow.

However this last Saturday was so beautiful. Perhaps it was the second day of spring, perhaps it was the last day, heck maybe it was the only day of summer. The family is still here on leave so there were ribs and burgers on the grill and the first swim of the year…..in still very cold water. My nephew went in along with his two aunts on his dad’s side but the water was cold!!! That didn’t seem to make a difference to the 4 year old. I did get a couple pictures of him in the pool ya know just in case it never warms up enough to swim again this year.

But the beautiful weather had made me wanting summer even more!!! I’m behind on the garden, I’m behind on the yard work, still focusing on finding a job. I know that once I have a job and have to stuff my yard work and garden into evenings and weekends I’ll probably get more done. But on this cold rainy Monday there will be none of the much needed yard work done today.
