Crisis averted, crisis averted, Tab is now in new packaging.
After several calls and follow up calls to Coca-Cola bottling and Coca-Cola Consumer affairs I received a call from Sheila at the Coca-Cola bottling in Oakland California informing me that Tab had indeed discontinued the 6 pack packaging however they were now producing the 12 pack refrigerator packaging. Also there was a delay in getting it on shelves as the stores needed to approve the shelf space for the new package.
Last night I found the 12 packs at Freddies.
I actually thought this was one possibility a few weeks ago because I saw the 12 pack at Figs (the sundry store in the office building across the street from work) I had never seen that packaging before so I was hoping for this best case scenario.
Thanks to Leslie, Mike, Diane, Della and Vivian who all looked in their local stores for me. I really appreciate your concern for my addiction. Chari had mentioned rehab and in Amy’s words I say No, No, No.

Yay! I’m so glad you found your TAB! It was kinda fun watching you twitch!
And, you better stock up! In October I’m coming over with my corndogs and I’ll need something to wash them down with!
