Okay, I am linking this story up here just because I personally know a couple people who use Zicam.
The FDA is warning against using it as it can and has cause permanent loss of smell.
I can’t imagine not being able to smell my morning coffee or flower and food smells. Let alone the sniff test is something has gone bad.
I am sure more information will come out on either side, but until its dis-proved why be sorry.
At least stop using them until Zicam files for and gets FDA approval on the products.

Hmm, that’s too bad, true or not. I wonder if it’s just the cold remedy formula. I use the allergy ones occasionally. I can still smell bacon though, and that’s the most important thing! Oh, and those delicious roses next to my porch. And, unfortunately that woman who doesn’t bathe often enough. Yeah, this Zicam user reports no loss of sense of smell!

It may be just the cold remedy. The products with Zinc in them.
