My Hot Saturday Night plans are a banana and peanut butter sandwich and the baseball game on tv.
Quite a productive day today however so I don’t have much more energy anyway. I started the day with a run, then proceeded to scrub the bathroom and vacuum the upstairs and stair case. When my afternoon/evening plans changed I got some kamikaze weeding done, planted a few ferns I picked up last weekend for the shade garden and mowed all three lawns.
After showering and needed grocery’s something fierce I took the last banana (over ripe) and made dinner.
As the endless list of things to do always seems to have more adding to it then taking off it was good to get a bunch of stuff done. However there is still laundry, grocery shopping, a whole lot more weeding and a deck to stain. I prepped the deck earlier in the week, you know right before it started to rain, so now I’m just waiting for a couple dry days in a row. I doubt the deck will happen tomorrow but the laundry and grocery shopping have to happen, along with another run as I am moving my “rest” day to next Friday as I have the “Rock and Roll Marathon” on Saturday.
Granted I am only doing the 1/2 marathon, and I will go the 13.1 miles but am not anywhere near being able to run all of that so I am aiming for 1/2 of the 1/2 marathon, or as I’m calling it a Quarterthon. But its better then last November when I walked the entire 13.1 miles. Who knows by the next 1/2 marathon maybe I’ll be up to the thirteen miles.

Seems ‘lil Sara had her baby last Tuesday.
Lola sent me the picture via text today.
So glad they are home and everyone is well and healthy.
