We got a lot done this weekend. With two full days we got all of the touch up painting done, the sealing of the grout and lots of odds and ends.
One of the things we did to make this space have a little character is put different knobs on the kitchenette counter. None of them match the others and it is something very subtle but when you notice they really stand out.
We also put some glass tile in the bathroom as an accent. We originally bought the tile to use as baseboard but decided against it. So I applied the mastic for Lori because of the boss frosting skills and she placed the tile. The tile made a great frame around the window. Next week we grout the tile, move the mattress into the room and change locks and the studio is officially complete.
We put up a window treatment in the window above the kitchenette but it was hard to get a photo as the light was behind it. The final touch was adding a stainglass film to the door window, adding a little more privacy and fun.
